Jennifer Oko is the author of the novels *Just Emilia* (2025), *Head Case* (2018), and *Gloss* (2007), and of the memoir *Lying Together: My Russian Affair* (published under her maiden name, Jennifer Beth Cohen). Her memoir was twice named an "Editor's Choice" by *The New York Times Book Review* and called "simply riveting." She is a co-founder of the documentary production company Because.Media, whose recent projects include HBO's *When A Witness Recants* (Sundance 2026).
